Dave Dahl is an American baker and entrepreneur best known as the co-founder and namesake of Dave’s Killer Bread. After returning to his family’s bakery, he developed breads that helped launch the brand at the Portland Farmers Market in 2005. [2]
Career and work
Dahl grew up working in his family’s bakery and returned to the business full time in 2005, taking a lead role in product development. That year, he and his nephew introduced the first Dave’s Killer Bread loaves at the Portland Farmers Market. [2]
The company subsequently expanded into a nationally distributed organic bread business and became known for its second-chance employment practices. [2]
