Delonte West

Delonte West is a former professional basketball player who spent eight seasons in the NBA. After playing at Saint Joseph’s University, he was selected 24th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2004 NBA Draft and later played for the Seattle SuperSonics, Cleveland Cavaliers and Dallas Mavericks. [2][3]
Career and work
West played three seasons at Saint Joseph’s University, where he formed a highly regarded backcourt with Jameer Nelson. In 2003–04, he averaged 18.9 points per game as the Hawks went 30–2, completed an undefeated regular season, earned a No. 1 national ranking and reached the NCAA Elite Eight. He received Associated Press honorable-mention All-America recognition and was twice named to the All-Atlantic 10 First Team. [2]
West went on to spend eight seasons in the NBA. Across his NBA career, he averaged 9.7 points, 3.6 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game. [3]
