Massicotte was among the first 12 students at the École nationale de l’humour when the school opened in 1988. Early in his career, he toured with Juste pour rire and opened shows for Céline Dion. [3][2]

He went on to present multiple solo comedy shows and starred in the television series 450, chemin du Golf, which ran for seven years. [3]
