Gucci Mane, born Radric Delantic Davis, is an American rapper widely regarded as one of the key figures in the development of trap music. His career includes albums such as Trap House, The State vs. Radric Davis, Everybody Looking and Breath of Fresh Air, as well as founding the 1017 record label. [2][3]
Career and work
Gucci Mane emerged from Atlanta’s rap scene in the mid-2000s and became one of the artists most closely associated with the development of trap music. His 2005 debut album, Trap House, was followed by a prolific run of albums and mixtapes. [2]
His later career included albums such as The State vs. Radric Davis, Everybody Looking, Mr. Davis and Breath of Fresh Air. He also built 1017 into a record-label platform for other artists. [2][3]
