Guy Latraverse was a Quebec producer and impresario who played a major role in developing the province’s live entertainment industry. His career encompassed artist management, major live productions, television and the creation of influential cultural institutions. [1]

Career and work

Latraverse began his career in 1962 as the agent for singer-songwriter Claude Léveillée and went on to work with many major Quebec performers. He produced large-scale concerts and events as well as nearly a thousand hours of television programming. [1]

He was involved in the creation of ADISQ and its televised gala and was also behind the establishment of the FrancoFolies de Montréal. [1]
